Fennemore Craig, P.C.

The "Managing Litigation as a Business" (Managing Litigation) initiative and related "Managing Litgation Reference Model" (MLRM) project are groundbreaking endeavors aimed at helping corporate in-house legal teams manage their companies' risks, disputes and litigation more efficiently and effectively.

Fennemore Craig heads a small core group of Managing Litigation Project Directors in these unique efforts, which began in late 2008. Importantly, Managing Litigation and MRLM have been praised as significant resources that complement the Association of Corporate Counsel Value Challenge -- ACC's nationwide initiative to achieve better alignment between the value and costs of legal services. To these ends, the Managing Litigation program assists corporate clients in improving efficiencies, reducing costs and deriving more value from the litigation services and products they purchase from preferred law firms and suppliers.

The most recent Managing Litigation kickoff event was held in Dallas, TX, on January 26, 2012. ACC Vice President and Chief Legal Strategist, Amar Sarwal, contributed as guest faculty: "Having experienced this event first-hand, we at ACC Headquarters are pleased to recommend the Managing Litigation initiative to other ACC Chapters as an endeavor that promotes and facilitates achievement of ACC Value Challenge goals.”
