Staff Positions


Fennemore Craig's Phoenix office is seeking a full-time, in-house, Legal Nurse Consultant to work with our growing Medical Negligence Group.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  assisting medical negligence team with interviewing fact witnesses and experts; researching, conferring with and retaining expert witnesses; performing medical research, preparing discovery responses; reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies.  Ideal candidates will have 2+ years nurse consulting and law firm experience.  R.N. required.  Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred.


Fennemore Craig, a regional law firm with six offices in three states, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.  The successful candidate will be self-directed, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated success in managing projects and people, will take responsibility for all General Ledger accounting and reporting and will ensure the integrity of financial statements.


  • Bachelor’s degree (or better) in accounting;
  • CPA or in pursuit of this designation;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience closing the books and reporting for a substantially sized business (over $10M);
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience successfully leading a team and managing others work performance;
  • Experience in Microsoft office in conjunction with expert Excel skills;
  • Elite 3E and Clarity Financial preferred but not required.
BILLING CLERK - Phoenix Office

Fennemore Craig, P.C., a regional law firm headquartered in Phoenix, AZ and with six offices in three states, is seeking a Billing Clerk with e-billing experience.  This is a full time position and the candidate will work in a team environment providing legal billing administrative services while interacting significantly with attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles, 10-key touch and 40 WPM typing skills, be detailed oriented, meet deadlines with minimal supervision and possess strong interpersonal skills.  We utilize the Elite 3E billing platform and preference will be given to candidates with this or related software experience.  The work schedule is M-F and we are flexible in working with the employee to set their daily start and finish times.


Fennemore Craig has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Real Estate practice group. Ideal candidates will be self-starters with strong initiative and organizational skills; have 3+ years related secretarial experience; excellent attention to detail; demonstrated ability to accurately type and proofread; knowledge of rules of grammar, punctuation, etc.; minimum typing speed 75 wpm; ability to maintain professional interpersonal relationships with attorneys, staff and clients. Flexibility in daily schedule is required.


Fennemore Craig, is seeking a full-time Document Clerk in its Denver office supporting the Real Estate practice group. This position files all documents in legal files including preparing backers and other indexes needed for file organization. Assists entire Real Estate Practice Group with miscellaneous secretarial responsibilities and projects as requested. Requires strong organizational skills, minimum keyboarding of 75 wpm, proficiency in various office software programs, (i.e. Scanning, PDF Converter, DTE, etc.). Secretarial experience is strongly preferred.

Fennemore Craig is seeking a File Clerk to work full time with our busy Healthcare Litigation practice group.  Must have litigation filing experience or equivalent (minimum of 1 year).  Requires strong organizational skills, minimum keyboarding of 40 wpm, proficiency in various office software programs and familiarity with electronic discovery and virtual files.    Must be able to work independently and able to adjust to varying work load demands. Must also be able to lift 40+ lbs.


Fennemore Craig's Denver office has an excellent opportunity for a reliable, experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join our team. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in healthcare, legal and professional malpractice cases; general defense litigation in state courts and Colorado Federal District Court; sense of urgency in meeting deadlines, and a systematic, organized approach to problem solving; calendaring of statutory and court deadlines (Law ToolBox experience preferred); familiarity with federal, state and appellate court filing rules and procedures; excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to accurately type and proofread; knowledge of rules of grammar and punctuation; minimum typing speed 75 wpm; ability to maintain professional interpersonal relationships with clients, colleagues and ancillary personnel; and ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, staff, clients and/or vendors. iManage document management experience preferred.
