Fennemore Craig is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant in Healthcare Litigation to join our Denver office. This position provides support to three attorneys and/or paralegals. Performs a wide variety of administrative tasks within specified time constraints with minimal supervision.


  • Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in healthcare, legal and professional malpractice cases;
  • General defense litigation in state courts and Colorado Federal District Court; sense of urgency in meeting deadlines, and a systematic, organized approach to problem solving;
  • Calendaring of statutory and court deadlines (Law ToolBox experience preferred); familiarity with federal, state and appellate court filing rules and procedures;
  • Excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to accurately type and proofread; knowledge of rules of grammar and punctuation;
  • Minimum typing speed 75 wpm; ability to maintain professional interpersonal relationships with clients, colleagues and ancillary personnel; and ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, staff, clients and/or vendors.
  • iManage document management experience preferred.

Fennemore Craig is seeking a highly qualified Paralegal - Personal Injury team member to join the firm.  Under the direction of the supervising attorney, the Paralegal -Personal Injury role will prepare the initial drafts of demand letters, including liability sections and detailed medical summaries, and manage an active case load while working closely with clients.  In addition to a positive disposition and demeanor, there are two requirements for this position that are of the utmost importance: (1) exceptional, top-notch, meticulous writing and editing skills; and (2) tremendous drive and work ethic.


  • Previous experience as plaintiff personal injury case manager or paralegal. 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or formal training in legal subjects and law office work experience preferred;
  • 3+ years’ experience in a legal environment;
  • Ability to prioritize and solve problems quickly;
  • Demonstration of superior organizational skills and flexibility;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Demonstration of initiative and responsibility in performance of the job;
  • Ability to maintain professional interpersonal relationships with clients, colleagues and ancillary personnel;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients.
  • Must be willing to participate in multi-phased writing assessments as part of interview process.
  • Core personality trait required is a motivator, highly driven person who is not afraid to take initiative and immerse themselves in projects.
