Fennemore Craig is seeking a highly qualified Staff Accountant for our Phoenix office. Primary responsibilities include preparing and reviewing reconciliations (Bank, Balance Sheet, Vendor, etc.), assistance with month end close and month end balancing, preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings, assistance with  accounting system upgrades, cash application, and participation with process improvements and ad-hoc projects.  This position will serve as a backup for department members and handle additional responsibilities as required.   


  • Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Strong detail orientation, analytical skills, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and excel under tight deadlines.
  • Motivated self-starter with a process improvement mindset who is willing to take on challenging new tasks. 

Fennemore Craig, a regional law firm with six offices in three states is seeking a Contract Legal Nurse Consultant to work with our growing medical negligence healthcare practice in the Phoenix office. This is a part-time position of approximately 25 hours weekly. Responsibilities would include assisting  with interviewing fact witnesses and experts; researching, conferring with and retaining expert witnesses; performing medical research, preparing discovery responses; reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies.


  • Registered Nurse; License in good standing
  • 2+ years as legal nurse consultant in law firm setting;
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Ability to work long-term contract on various complex cases.
