Staff Positions

NURSE PARALEGAL - HEALTHCARE LITIGATION - Phoenix Office

Fennemore Craig's Phoenix office is seeking a full-time, in-house, Legal Nurse Consultant to work with our growing Medical Negligence Group.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  assisting medical negligence team with interviewing fact witnesses and experts; researching, conferring with and retaining expert witnesses; performing medical research, preparing discovery responses; reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies.  Ideal candidates will have 2+ years nurse consulting and law firm experience.  R.N. required.  Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred.

STAFFING AND RELATIONS MANAGER - Phoenix Office

Fennemore Craig is looking for an experienced human resources professional with 3-5+ years of experience in recruiting and staff relations. This position will serve as the primary staff recruiter for the firm, conducting interviews, background checks and employment offers and have experience recruiting in a multi-state environment. The manager must possess strong recruiting, staff relations and management skills including a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of employment laws. Successful candidates will possess a bachelor's level degree in HR or a related field, excellent writing, verbal and listening skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. A strong sense of urgency responding to issues, customer service orientation, ability to work well under pressure, and flexibility in a fast-paced organization are also required. Professional services experience is strongly preferred and candidates must be approachable and able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, including management.

PARALEGAL - COMMERCIAL LITIGATION - Phoenix Office

Fennemore Craig is seeking an experienced, full-time Paralegal to work with our Commercial Litigation practice group. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and able to work well under pressure and time constraints. Ideal candidates will possess excellent computer and organizational skills, advanced technical editing abilities, diligent attention to detail, strong grasp of litigation and research databases (Summation preferred) and have experience coordinating voluminous complicated documents quickly and accurately. Duties include but are not limited to frequent client contact and client meetings, and preparing reports, notebooks and exhibits for litigation motions, experts, and witnesses utilizing numerous databases including Summation, CaseMap, Trial Director, etc.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification required;
  • Qualified candidates will have 5+ year's related experience handling complex litigation cases; 
  • Trial experience is highly preferred;
  • Experience working with technical case management/organization systems (e.g. CaseMap) is highly preferred, as well as technical experience related to preparing for and conducting trials.
ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR - Phoenix Office

Fennemore Craig is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to serve in our new role as Assistant Director of Human Resources.  This position is responsible for creating and managing staff retention and development programs, including rewards and recognition programs to instill a team-based culture within the firm.  This position will architect  training program platforms to support continuous skills assessment and development, and will measure the effectiveness of the human resources programs.   5-10 years’ of human resources experience supporting multiple sites is required, as well as a Bachelor’s degree; Organizational Development coursework or degree preferred.  Successful candidates will also have at least 5 years of experience in training and development, as well as experience with learning management systems.  Supervisory experience is required and professional services experience is preferred. 

LEASE TRACKING COORDINATOR - Denver Office

Fennemore Craig, is seeking a full-time Lease Tracking Coordinator in its Denver office. This position files and organizes legal documents and correspondence under the general direction of paralegal and attorney; prepares and maintains tracking charts; drafts email memos summarizing all requirements and deadlines for paralegal review. Assists Real Estate practice group with miscellaneous secretarial responsibilities and projects as requested. Requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various office software programs, (i.e. Scanning, PDF Converter, DTE, etc.). Secretarial experience is strongly preferred.

  • Team player yet able to work independently;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask is required; and
  • Must be able to work independently and able to adjust to varying work load demands.
LEGAL SECRETARY - HEALTHCARE LITIGATION - Denver Office

Fennemore Craig's Denver office has an excellent opportunity for a reliable, experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join our team. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in healthcare, legal and professional malpractice cases; general defense litigation in state courts and Colorado Federal District Court; sense of urgency in meeting deadlines, and a systematic, organized approach to problem solving; calendaring of statutory and court deadlines (Law ToolBox experience preferred); familiarity with federal, state and appellate court filing rules and procedures; excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to accurately type and proofread; knowledge of rules of grammar and punctuation; minimum typing speed 75 wpm; ability to maintain professional interpersonal relationships with clients, colleagues and ancillary personnel; and ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, staff, clients and/or vendors. iManage document management experience preferred.
